Viola Davis in pink as she's honoured for her work by sexual assault charity

How to Get Away with Murder star Viola Davis was honored for her hard work at The Rape Foundation Annual Brunch in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

The 51-year-old looked radiant in a fitted, floral dress as she arrived for the special event, which was MC-ed by David Schwimmer, and also saw philanthropist Cheryl Saban honoured.

The ABC star was supported at the event by her husband Julius Tennon, who looked suave in pinstripe trousers and a pastel-colored vest

Viola is a long-term supporter of the charity, which funds comprehensive, state-of-the-art treatment for sexual assault victims, such as 24-hour emergency medical treatment and forensic services.

It is also responsible for Stuart House in Santa Monica, California, an innovative program created to serve the special needs of child victims, with no charge for any services.
Viola has previously spoken of how her sister's sexual assault at the age of eight had a long-term impact on her life.

Speaking at a gala for the Foundation last year, she said: 'I have a sister, who, when she was 8 years old, put on some rollerskates with her friend, went down to the corner store at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, went into the store, and was sexually assaulted in the store.

And they were joined by Viola's How to Get Away with Murder co-stars Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Alfred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, and Charlie Weber.
