She's remained open and honest as she faces a challenging season in her life.
And Selma Blair seemed happy to be back home by her son Arthur's side as she shared a selfie cuddled up to her little one.
The 47-year-old actress wrote that it's 'darkest before the dawn' and expressed gratitude for her incredible support system as she recovers from a grueling treatment to battle multiple sclerosis.

'I still get overwhelmed in the chaos of the dark,' she wrote. 'And I am so deeply moved at how many people called or wrote or left comments after my last post. The old me was ashamed. Ashamed to be so transparent with vulnerability or fear. And I wanted to delete the image. The heart bruised words.'
Selma shared an image of her bruised legs and wrote that she was 'afraid to cry' in an emotional update to her fans just the day before.
'But you all changed that with your words of support,' she wrote. 'I was humbled. I couldn’t even read til now. Thank you. Thank you.maybe I will print and put in a book for when I need it again. We should all do that sometimes.'

She assured her friends and followers that despite the trying times, her son is 'golden' and thriving as she recovers from the unique treatment plan to battle MS.
'Thank you universe. I will get there. Have patience,' she wrote. 'Thank you. All of us. Be gentle. With ourselves and others. It is a wonderful feeling.'
Selma has been documenting her battle with MS after her diagnosis in October, and two months ago she left her son in California to undergo the HSCT treatment.
The Cruel Intentions star recently revealed that the ensuing chemotherapy meant she had lost her hair, and posted a snap of her new look after finally being discharged from hospital.
'Thank you to everyone here and in my life who did that for me the last few days. I can do this now,' she added online.
