Rumours began circulating over what could possibly be the reason for the breakup as the two seemed to going stronger, and even celebrated their one year anniversary with a romantic exotic getaway.
Scottish DJ Calvin Harris was reportedly jealous over Taylor's mega success and wouldn't even attend any award events unless he was nominated too.
Taylor, earning a cool $100 million in 2015, wanted more from the relation including moving in together, getting engaged and babies as well.
Calvin had never dated a girl like Taylor before, their social circles were poles apart as well, but there was no drama involved in the breakup.
Though Taylor is said to be upset, she wants to move on from a relation that couldn't offer her more.

He was noticeably absent from two major events of Taylor's life, the 2016 Met Gala, which she co-hosted, and the 2016 Grammy Awards, where Taylor won big.
Calvin broke silence as rumours circulated and tweeted yesterday, 'The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect."
