Fundy leftovers ...

The wonderful thing about exploring on my own is that I can stop when I want, and linger as long as I like, looking at whatever shiny thing caught my eye in the first place,

like this church.

As you know, I love peering in windows.

One of these days, someone is going to be peering out, and it'll scare the crap outta me.

But I bet that won't stop me.

I wonder if in winter,  they still heat the church with that wood stove.

While Wendy and Trey were running in the sloppy mud, I admire the lovely view.
I think the tide was on its way out.

Hard to imagine that the tide will rise up to float this boat in just a matter of hours.

Lovely, gloopy mud.

I love checking out old cemeteries.

It's sad how overgrown this cemetery is.
If I lived near one like this, I'd adopt it, and care for it.

How did they bear the sadness of losing so many beloved children ?

Perhaps the message on the stone below holds the answer ?

This abandoned farm is next to the cemetery.

I loved this bit of fence with pink roses and the strong old tree trunk in the background.

Still have more images left, but you're going to have to wait another day or so for them.
