The sap is running!! And we got a plan.

Where are we today ?

       Early, morning drive to Plattsville was a nice morning, pretty mild and no ice to scrape off the car windows again, love it !! Just a couple miles down the road through the village of Haysville I finally noticed that the trees were tapped for sap. Apparently these are walnut trees. And the syrup is very similar to Maple syrup according to Suzie's Dad. Don't know have never tried it,

         Back home ran a few errands and got more stuff done here. A bite for lunch and Suzie headed into Kitchener with her Dad and visit her mom.

         Made a few plans then to the indoor track (kinda chilly wind today) and got 3 miles done. Not exciting but I just need to do it  feel much better afterwards. 

         Home again in time to whip up supper (our special time together) Tonight the last of our catfish fillets , lightly fried on coconut oil with Roasted Garlic and Butter Fish Crisp, quick easy and very tasty ! Not sure if available in the USA but most places in Canada.

      That was another fine almost warm day here. 

      We are not making much progress here just sitting around twiddling our fingers, waiting for the house to sell and help on purging, at the moment (been here 63 days, very seldom stay anywhere longer than a couple weeks or maybe a month at the most, hitch-itch is setting in real bad!) we have an opportunity to get away for a day or two. So thats what we doing, gonna run away tomorrow. Come on back and check us out, We are both excited!!!
